Lich Lord Venethrax is the Cryx icon from Warmachine—a towering, gaunt undead sorcerer. The miniature shows a skull-faced lich cloaked in tattered robes and bone armor, with a hood and a commanding presence. In one hand he grips a jagged necromantic staff; his other hand wields the green necrotic energy that swirls around him. The sculpt emphasizes sinewy, rotted flesh and dark, ironlike details, set against a base of ruined crypt stone. The overall look is pure Cryx: black with sickly green glow, radiating chilling necromantic power. In battle, he’s portrayed as a master of necromancy who drains life and buffs his undead legions.
