The XV88 Broadside Battlesuit is the Tau Empire’s premier long‑range heavy support unit. This tall, two‑legged battlesuit features a broad chest plate and a pair of shoulder weapons, typically armed with a Heavy Railgun as its primary gun and a Smart Missile System for supplementary fire. Built for punishing armor and elite targets from extreme range, it delivers devastating, precise shots while its bulk makes it a feared centerpiece on the battlefield. It’s iconic for its silhouette and its role as a stalwart anchor that can weather return fire while laying down punishing firepower.
